Located along Bollinger Rd right off S De Anza Blvd, parking is plentiful but availability is scarce. Indoor seating availability was quite open. The noise level was average. The menu was quite simplistic but a good selection for both soup and stir fry noodles. Braised beef noodle soup (5/5): the broth was fragrant and flavorful. The meat was tender and easy to chew. The noodles were amazing too. They were soft and practically melted in my mouth. Cash or venmo is accepted. Overall, QQ noodle is a great place. The food and service was good.
Aside from being cash only, this place is great in all aspects. You can never go wrong ordering almost anything on their menu (I believe so although I have not yet tried everything). This time I tried the spicy fish fillet noodle soup. I really enjoyed it! It is super flavorful, not overly spicy. The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the fish fillet and nicely fried. This is not something I'd normally go order at any noodle place, but just proves my point again that it's hard to go wrong here! The place has a lot of wooden seating and gives off a cozy vibe. We got seated right away and the food also came out quick. This is definitely one of my go to places.
Fast service and fabulous food. Ordered upon arrival and food came within 15 minutes of ordering. Can't wait to eat here again! Thank you for a great lunch that day! Forgot to take a picture but ample portions, QQ noodles and delicious food.
Came here after they were included in Yelp's top places to eat in the Bay Area list for 2024. I didn't do enough research and know that they are cash only before coming in, but luckily they also accept venmo. Decided to order some of the most popular dishes to see what it was all about. Two of us shared the garlic sauce noodles with pork, cold noodle appetizer, braised beef noodle soup, and pork hock with garlic sauce. We both really liked the garlic sauce noodles with pork and cold noodle appetizer. The pork noodles were a little spicy but nothing too overwhelming for the tastebuds. The noodles in all of the dishes were fantastic, you could tell that they were handmade in house and they really had the perfect chew to them. We were surprised that the pork hock was a cold dish. I liked the flavorful sauce that came on top of it, but didn't love that it was cold. The cut of the beef in the braised beef soup also kinda threw me off since I didn't grow up eating super authentic Chinese food. I didn't personally love the meat, but think that a lot of people would. Portions are large and we had plenty of food to take home with us.
I've been coming to QQ Noodle since I was a kid with my parents and I've never been disappointed by the food here. The noodles are so fresh and chewy and one of the best in the Bay Area in my opinion. Most recently, I got the tomato egg with flat noodles and spicy beef soup with round noodles. I love the texture of the flat noodles a little better but prefer the round noodles for soup for ease of eating. Generous servings of beef and veggies in the soup, but I wish that there had been a bit more of the tomato egg in relation to the amount of noodles we got. Some of my other favorites are the chow mein and sparerib soup. Eyeing the garlic pork noodles, hot oil noodles, and spicy fish soup to try next! It's a pretty casual spot, you order through a QR code on the table then the food gets brought out to your table pretty quickly.
Sigh.. they shouldn't have shown me this place, I actually crave this everyday Someone on my team recommended this restaurant and I've gone 2 more times after because it's just so good! I'm always a thick noodle enthusiast and these noodles are unreal. Theyre chewy, perfectly cooked, paired with flavorful pork (or beef?) and the sauce ties this whole dish together. 10/10! We also ordered the dumplings, which comes with A LOT. Definitely dip them in the vinegar (you will not be disappointed). Not only is the food amazing, but the service??? They're so nice and food comes out so fast! We had a baby with us last time and they acknowledged her when passing by and had kid friendly cutlery and dishes. Haven't had a bad experience, will continue to keep coming back! Total: $62 Tip: It's pretty much cash only, so bring cash! Try the hot oil noodles (they're not too spicy imo). TP Tea is next door, order ahead for dessert :)
Our go to place for pulled noodle in the San Jose area! Cash only! Service is quick even tho they usually only have 2 people running the front of the restaurant. Both times that we've been here, the restaurant was packed each time, but our food always came out quickly and hot. Their hand pulled noodle is way better than Highland with a more uniform thickness that's just chewy enough. It also seems like a family run business over a chain restaurants. Our go to every time is the hot spicy beef stew soup. Most of the time is the tomato and eggs noodle, and recently the garlic sauce with pork noodle. We haven't tried any dishes here that we don't like yet. They do offer the option to order online and pay in person or online for quicker service. The restaurant does get packed quickly, but the food also comes out super quick.
Came to this restaurant for a quick lunch on a Saturday around 1pm and the parking lot was extremely packed. You can sit at any open table when you arrive and can order through the QR code. This place only accept cash!! The restaurant was extremely packed but you can get seated fairly quick. This is an authentic yummy place for chinese noodles! I love how chewy the noodles are and I always get the hot spicy fish noodle soup. The batter for the fried fish is not too thick and I love how the batter soaks up the soap. Overall, I would come back and recommend this place to others!
Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Called ahead for my order as the cash online order has a $.99 order fee and the credit card online order website has a 6% surcharge. Parking is plentiful in the private lot and dining is available indoors exclusively. Some staff wore mask and gloves with their uniform. Ordered the beef noodle soup with the wide noodles and the highlight were the super fresh and bouncy wide noodles. The beef was super tender and the portion was generous. Split a noodle soup and there were still leftovers. The spicy beef stomach was tasty too. ~$14/head after tax.
